Amanuel Hagos

Project Officer

Amanuel works as a Project Officer with the Department of Developmental Disability Neuropsychiatry (3DN), University of New South Wales. He is currently managing the project on improving palliative care services for people with intellectual disability.

He holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in public health and is in the last stretch of his PhD at the School of Population Health. His PhD explores care pathways, best care options and barriers and enablers to health services for older adults who are in contact with the justice system.

Amanuel has worked extensively in health program management and health services research including designing and implementing palliative care services for vulnerable groups of population.
