Bronwyn Newman

PhD Candidate

Bronwyn's PhD project will seek to examine what makes information about mental health accessible for people with intellectual disability and explore the impact of accessible information on equality. Bronwyn has had extensive experience in various roles within the disability sector in NSW. She is excited to be working on her PhD within the NHMRC Partnerships for Better Health Project - Improving the Mental Health Outcomes for Persons with Intellectual Disability as this brings great opportunity to inform practice and promote equality in disability and mental health spheres. 

Bronwyn completed a Bachelor of Social Work at Sydney University and a Master of Policy and Social Research at Macquarie University.
