Christina Matthews

Dr Christina Matthews is a generalist and forensic psychiatrist employed in the public and private mental health sectors. She is currently completing her Masters of Health Management (Extension) with UNSW. As part of this program, she is undertaking a research project with the 3DN team. The project’s area of focus is the impact of intellectual disability on the mental and physical wellbeing of persons with autism.
Christina values working with marginalised cohorts in the health sector, including those with intellectual disabilities. She hopes that her research area will allow for an expansion of scholarly knowledge regarding health outcomes for these populations.
