Claire has a background in psychology and is currently working as a Project Officer managing various 3DN projects. Current projects include consultation with people with motor neurone disease and their care-partners around linked mental health data, and the development of Easy Read materials for people with intellectual disability utilising the mental health system. Her projects have included the development and implementation of the Intellectual Disability Mental Health Core Competencies Framework manual and toolkit; a national curriculum audit of intellectual disability content taught in Australian medical and nursing schools; and a project with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists examining workforce and future training capacity in the area of intellectual and developmental disability mental health.
Previously Claire has worked at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, London managing a program of research aimed at examining cognitive maintaining factors of worry in emotional disorders, and at the Brain & Mind Centre assessing the efficacy of an e-Health program for generalised anxiety versus pharmacological treatment. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) and Master of Psychology (Clinical) from the University of NSW.
