Jessica Ward

Research Officer

Jessica is a Research Assistant that works on various research projects within 3DN. Her current projects involve helping to develop a preventative care model for people with intellectual disabilities and developing content for the 3DN’s e-learning portfolio to build capacity for health and disability workforces.

Jessica has a background in Psychology. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Lancaster University and an MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology from the University of Manchester, U.K. She subsequently gained experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities within a dementia service for the National Health Service in England.

Jessica is passionate about improving healthcare and health outcomes for under-represented populations by supporting co-designed research to drive new models of care and policy action.
