Rachael Cvejic

Lecturer

Rachael Cvejic (née Birch) is a registered psychologist and early career researcher with broad research interests including neuropsychology and neuropsychiatry. Her clinical and research experience includes working with people with mild and major neurocognitive disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and inherited neurodegenerative disorders including fragile X-associated tremor ataxia syndrome and Huntington disease. Rachael is currently involved in a number of educational and research activities at 3DN, with a focus on: health service use of people with less common types of dementia; mental health service use of people with motor neurone disease; hospital presentations for self-harm in people with mental health and drug and alcohol comorbidity; preventable disease burden in people with psychotic disorders; younger people with disabilities in residential aged care; palliative care services for people with an intellectual disability; intellectual disability mental health; mental health workforce capacity.
