Sue has experience advocating for people with disability to get good health care. To advocate is when you or someone else do things so that your rights and needs are met. Sue did this through her work at the University of Sydney. Part of this work involved communicating with people with disability and the people who support them about NDIS and ways to get the supports they need. Sue wants all people to be treated equally.

Sue has also worked for many years. In this time, she has worked at Target and in an office. Sue recently has started to advocate for more support to be given to people with disability who want to work after retirement age or later in life.

Sue will be supporting the preventive health care project. This project is also called Intellectual Disability Health My Way. Sue is excited to support people with intellectual disability to have good health.
