Health profiles, health services use and transition to dementia in individuals with self-harm
3DN conducted a study to investigate health service needs for people with a history of self-harm who have dementia. We used linked data from a large sample of people living with dementia who had been admitted to hospital, went to the emergency department, or used outpatient mental health services in NSW.
We created a fact sheet for professionals working with those living with dementia to give a summary of what we found, and what this means for people living with dementia.
